VerificationEngine gives you the ability to verify that the site you are visiting (or directed to via a e-mail) can be trusted - essential in the current environment of fraudulent sites and faked emails.
Just mouse over the logo brand or image you want to verify and VerificationEngine will authenticate the different trust credentials of the site you are on. For example VerificationEngine will check logos such as credit card icons (for online purchasing) web site endorsements such as BBB online or TRUSTe or trade associations are legitimate. In addition simply mouse over a logo and a green border will indicate that the site is legitimately the company it claims to be.
During a secure communications session Internet Explorer users can simply mouse over the padlock to verify;
a) That the padlock is genuine and not a fraudulent graphic
b) The site uses an SSL certificate containing the true entity information about the company with which you have an encrypted https session.
All these tests are seamless. VerificationEngine will extract the credentials of the site from the IdAuthority service, including references to third party logos. All this happened in real time ensuring up to the minute confidence and assurance.
Verification of web page content (brands/logos) with BrandVerify™
VerificationEngine uses patent pending technology to authenticate that a website logo or brand is legitimate and authentic to the company it purports to be.
Verification of login boxes with SubmitVerify™
VerificationEngine uses patent pending technology to authenticate that a website loginbox is legitimate and authentic to the company it purports to be. Combined with anti-keylogging systems.
Verification of SSL session and encryption endpoint with SSLVerifiy™
VerificationEngine allows users of Internet Explorer to determine if the business credentials of the entity with which they have a secure SSL session are available from within the SSL certificate which is being used to encrypt the communication. - What this means is that no Man-in-the-Middle attack can take place as you can be assured of who it is you are communicating with.
Protection against Phishing attacks
Phishing attacks rely on using a link in an e-mail to entice you to a web site which claims to be a legitimate website but is in actual fact a fraudulent site. Now, even if you click on a link and arrive on what should be your banks website you can verify whether it is or not.
Protection against Pharming attacks using IPVerify™
Pharming attacks rely on a virus or Trojan program which corrupts a file on your PC which even if you type the correct URL into your browser send you to a fraudulent website. VerificationEngine supports IPVerify™ which prevents Pharming attacks from succeeding by not only checking the domain name of a sever but also it's unique IP address during the verification process.
Automatic Updates
VerificationEngine has a fully automatic update mechanism ensuring the best performance, highest security and instant availability of the very latest Identity and Trust Assurance services.
Suitable for Internet users with Visual Disabilities
VerificationEngine has been designed specifically to aid users with visual disabilities. Audio feedback can be employed as part of the verification test using a custom .wav file. The Trusted indicator width and colour can also be increased or changed accordingly to aid visual recognition.
Self Protection attack avoidance system
VerificationEngine features the very latest self protection and monitoring systems constantly looking at the performance of the product and alerting you if any spurious software tries to attack the application or shut it down without permission.
Artificial Intelligence System - identifying copycat attempts
Artificial Intelligence constantly looks for potential mimics and other software trying to display a similar 'trust indicator' around the outside of the screen. VerificationEngine will alert you of these fraudulent attempts; however it's always best to ensure you have the correct version of VerificationEngine. Never install a version which is not digitally signed by Comodo CA.

Experience the web, Apple style, with Safari: the fastest, easiest-to-use web browser in the world. With its simple, elegant interface, Safari gets out of your way and lets you enjoy the web, up to 2 times faster than Internet Explorer.
The fastest web browser on any platform, Safari loads pages up to 2 times faster than Internet Explorer 7 and up to 1.6 times faster than Firefox 2.
And it executes JavaScript up to 2.8 times faster than Internet Explorer 7 and up to 1.6 times faster than Firefox 2. What does all that mean for you? Less time loading pages and more time enjoying them.
It renders web pages at lightning speed. It delivers never-before-seen features that make browsing more fun. And it works on the Mac, PC, iPhone, and iPod touch. Meet Safari, the world's most innovative browser.
A more elegant browser. By design
But from the day it was released, Safari set the bar higher for web browsers. It introduced sophisticated design elements that made browsing a joy. Easy to use, Safari stayed out of your way and let you effortlessly navigate from site to site.
Safari is designed to emphasize the browsing, not the browser. The browser frame is a single pixel wide. You see a scroll bar only when needed. By default, there's no status bar. Instead, a progress indicator turns as your page loads. You'll find tabs at the very top of the browser, opening an even wider window for viewing websites. A great browser, Safari lets you simply enjoy the web -- whether you're exploring it from a Mac, PC, iPhone, or iPod touch.
The first browser to deliver the "real" Internet to a mobile device, Safari renders pages on iPhone and iPod touch just as you see them on your computer. And it's much more than just a scaled-down, mobile version of the original. Safari takes advantage of the technologies built into these Multi-Touch devices. The page shifts and reformats to fill the window when you turn your iPhone or iPod touch on its side. You zoom in and out just by pinching your fingers. And no matter how you access it, Safari is always blazing fast and easy to use.
Innovation. In plain sight
Leading the way to a better Internet
The world's fastest browser, Safari has speed to burn. Why should you wait for pages to load? You want to see those search results, get the latest news, check current stock prices, right now. And Safari delivers, so you wait less and browse more. In fact, every Safari update is tested to make sure it continues to deliver the fastest browsing experience on any platform.
Apple has long been a strong advocate of web standards. In fact, it has taken an active role in promoting and defining standards, such as HTML 5 and CSS 3, that encourage innovation and make the web a better place for all of us.
For example, Safari was the first browser to support HTML 5 audio and video tags. They allow developers to integrate media directly into standard web pages, reducing development time and leading to faster response for you. And by supporting HTML 5 offline technologies, Safari allows web-based applications to store information on your hard drive, so you can use them even without an Internet connection.
Safari was also the first browser to support CSS 3 animations, which bring a new level of interactivity to the web, and CSS effects, which let developers add polish to websites by stylizing images and photos with eye-catching gradients, precise masks, and stunning reflections.
Apple has consistently demonstrated its leadership in supporting the latest standards by passing both Acid 2 and Acid 3 before any other browser. Designed by the Web Standards Project, the Acid tests confirm a browser's ability to handle the latest web standards.
The browser that has your back
The web can be a scary place. But when you use Safari, you can surf worry free. Whether you're checking your bank account, sending confidential email, or just browsing the web, Safari is there to keep you safe and your privacy protected.
Thanks to Private Browsing, your browsing remains your business. Simply turn Private Browsing on, and Safari stops recording the sites you visit and the software or files you download. It also stops storing your Google searches, cookies, and the data in online forms you fill out. So feel free to shop online from a shared or public computer.
To prevent companies from tracking the cookies generated by the websites you visit, Safari blocks them by default. It accepts cookies only from your current domain. It also provides built-in pop-up blocking, so you don't have to be bothered by unwanted ads. Read more about privacy protection on the 150 Features page.
And Safari has even more innovation in store. With Top Sites, Safari raises the bar yet again, offering a novel way to display your favorite sites -- with minimal work on your part. Beautiful to look at, Top Sites makes it easy to spot the site you want and open it with a click.
Looking for a site you visited in the past but can't quite remember? Use Full History Search to quickly find sites using even the sketchiest search terms. And when you click a web page in Cover Flow, it's because you've already recognized it as the site you were looking for. No more guessing. Innovative features like these show you how good browsing can be.
Innovation starts with WebKit, the technology at the heart of Safari. Powering Safari on iPhone and iPod touch and Safari 4 on the Mac and PC, WebKit displays graphics, renders fonts, determines page layout, and fuels the interactivity of the sites you visit every day.
Created by Apple engineers, WebKit simplifies web development and accelerates innovation. An open source project, WebKit is free for anyone to use. In fact, right now an entire community of engineers is refining and streamlining the code to be faster and more reliable. That's teamwork on a very large scale, and the web is a better place for it.
Now used in more than 100 products on desktop and mobile devices, WebKit has been adopted for use in Google Chrome and in AOL Desktop for Mac. It's the web rendering engine used in Adobe AIR, Adobe Dreamweaver, and Microsoft Entourage. And WebKit has become the new standard for mobile browsers, powering Google Android, Nokia Series 60, and Palm webOS.
Apple engineers designed Safari to be secure from day one. And they continue to build improvements into Safari with each new release. For example, antiphishing and antimalware technology is built in, so if you visit a site that might contain phishing or malware content, Safari automatically alerts you and won't open the page. Thanks to its support for EV (Extended Validation) Certificates, Safari highlights legitimate websites and businesses, letting you feel confident about purchasing items or sharing personal information online.
Safari also provides secure encryption technologies to prevent eavesdropping, forgery, and digital tampering while you browse the Internet. It offers standards-based authentication for logging into secure websites, and it supports the most popular proxy protocols.
If you're browsing on a Mac, Safari offers Safe Downloads. That means Safari tags each download with information about when and where you downloaded it and reminds you where it came from the first time you open it. To keep your browser up to date and secure, Safari provides easy access to the latest security updates via Apple Software Update.

After watching a video in a Web site, you may want to save the video file into your local disk for playing it offline in the future. If the video file is stored in your browser's cache, this utility can help you to extract the video file from the cache and save it for watching it in the future.
It automatically scans the entire cache of Internet Explorer and Mozilla-based Web browsers (Including Firefox) and finds all video files that are currently stored in it. It allows you to easily copy the cached video files into another folder for playing/watching them in the future. If you have a movie player that is configured to play flv files, it also allows you to play the video directly from your browser's cache.
Using VideoCacheView
VideoCacheView doesn't require any installation process or additional DLL files. In order to start using it, simply run the executable file (VideoCacheView.exe)
After running VideoCacheView, it scan the cache folders of your Internet Explorer and Mozilla browsers, as well as the temporary folder of Windows. Wait 5 - 30 seconds until the scanning process is finished, and the main window of VideoCacheView should display all the video files that are currently in cache.
After the video list is displayed, you can use one of the following options, assuming that the video files are stored in the cache ('In Cache' = Yes):
- Play Selected File: Allows you to play the video file directly from the cache, assuming that you have a video player that is configured to play .flv files.
- Copy Selected Files To: Allows to copy the video files from the cache into another folder, so you will be able to play them in the future.
If you have a video file that is not stored in the cache ('In Cache' = No), you can use the 'Open Download URL In Browser' option (F8) in order to download the video file. You can also use the 'Copy Download URLs' option (Ctrl+U) to copy the download URLs to the clipboard, and then use then in your browser or in other download software.
Be aware that some Web sites may not allow you to download a video file in this way.
